RESEARCH AND EXPERIMENTS WERE DEVELOPED AND CARRIED OUT INDEPENDENTLY.
ALL EXHIBITION AND INSTALLATION WORK WERE PRODUCED AS PART OF STUDIO TOMAS SARACENO'S ARACHNID RESEARCH LAB.
LONDON, BERLIN, PARIS - MAY TO OCTOBER, 2018
Arachnid Studies is a series of artefacts, installations, and materials samples developed through experiments exploring the properties of spiders and the silk they produce. These include experiments examining their ability to produce programmable geometries, to absorb particulate matter, to react to environmental factors, and to communicate with humans. The Arachnid Studies were developed independently, in concurrence with production and research work developed at Tomas Saraceno's Arachnid Research Lab work, in preparation for the On Air exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo.
