Dust to Dust is a service platform for redesigning and redistributing waste as commodity. It focuses on a new type of zero-byproduct concrete material, produced by UTokyo's Sakai Lab. The project retraces the wasteful processes involved in the current use of resources such as concrete. In response, it proposes an alternative where customers and commercial partners can integrate the new waste-based material into their spaces, products, and daily habits. This research project responds to the increasing need to turn towards environmentally friendly resources, both on the infrastructure level and the individual level.
